Calhoun County Freedom Rock

The Calhoun County Freedom Rock is the main feature of the Calhoun County Veteran Memorial Park in Rockwell City and is part of The Freedom Rock Tour all across Iowa. The Calhoun County Freedom Rock was painted by artist Ray "Bubba" Sorenson in 2014 and dedicated in November 2015 on Veterans Day.
